The passenger ferry “Blue Star Mykonos” received the green light from the authorities and departed from Port of Limnos, Greece, after the COVID-19 test results came back negative.
To remind, the passenger ferry “Blue Star Mykonos” was in quarantine at Port Limnos after a crewmember experienced COVID-19 symptoms and was tested. Yet, the ferry remained anchored at the port waiting for the results.
Attica Group reported that, in consultation with the National Public Health Organization and in collaboration with the Hellenic Coast Guard, the ferry was authorized to depart the port and continue its journey.
Therefore, as the test results came back negative, the vessel is now able to continue its journey from Kavala to Mytilene, Lesvos, Oinousses, Chios Island, Vathy Samos, Karlovasi Samos, Fournoi island, Agios Kyrikos, Mykonos, Syros and Pireaus, as the terminal.
Yet, Attica Group stated that the ferry would not board passengers from the ports of departure.
