Konstantinos Papoutsis

Konstantinos Papoutsis has fifteen-year professional experience having held several business and academic roles. Konstantinos currently runs ESG Sustainability at Euronav since May 2021 with twofold responsibility: to support the organization in building its decarbonization as well as the ESG framework. He also served as Sustainability Lead at Nike EMEA Operations for four years leading sustainability strategy and operations at European level. He has been research associate in multiple research and academic institutions as the University of Antwerp (Belgium), the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Thessaly (Greece). He studied Surveying and Transport Engineering and holds a PhD in Applied Economics. Konstantinos has also published scientific articles in journals specialized in transport economics and sustainability.
