Emilie Christiansen

Emilie Christiansen is a senior shipping lawyer in the Norwegian law firm Thommessen working with all aspects of maritime law. She started her career with the Norwegian law firm Wikborg Rein in London (and later Oslo) before joining DNV as in-house legal counsel and later the marine insurer Skuld. She holds an LLB from Kingston University and an LPC from the University of Westminster and is a qualified lawyer in England and Norway. She has served as the President of YoungShip International and the Chair of YoungShip Oslo and currently sits as Vice President of WISTA Norway having a keen interest in promoting young people and women in the industry. She also serves on several boards and committees within the shipping industry.
