Risks of accidents at sea is growing

Accidents at sea have for too long been a taboo for the shipping industry. A new approach, technologies and services, are now gathering together through the emerging Maritime Passive Safety Association. It aims at reducing the ecological consequences of accidents at sea, by equipping ships with permanent technologies that help the crew and salvage companies to act in the best conditions.
The area of improvement offered by this new approach is huge. Maritime Passive Safety is gaining strong momentum, recently at the International Maritime Organization, and shortly at the European Union. More and more support is fueling our action among the ship-owners, the freighters, the environmental ngos, experts and the media.
