Veins of Shipping at Istanbul
“35th WISTA International Conference – Veins of Shipping” of WISTA – Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association will be held on 7-10th of Oct 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey by the organization of WISTA Turkey.
By the aim of 35th International WISTA “Veins of Shipping” Conference 2015, shipping & trade routes, shipping market overview, important trade points such as canals and straits, vessels’ safety & quality and more subjects about shipping will be discussed including many representatives and state authorities all around the World who hold a significant role in maritime industry.
As a reminder of WISTA’s background,Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) is an international organisation for women in management positions involved in the maritime transportation business and related trades worldwide. WISTA Turkey also has been keeping major role in attracting more women to the industry and in supporting women in management positions via networking, education and mentoring in focus since 2009 within their cooperative works in the industry.
By the approved lists of panellists and speakers; which stated in current conference web page will lead and manage the panel sessions in the conference.
President of WISTA Turkey, Mrs. Halime Can Yorulmaz explains their excitement that “It is the first time that a WISTA International Conference will take place in Turkey.
