IOPP certificate supplement B contains design/arrangements that no longer exist. Amendments to the form B of the supplement to the IOPP Certificate (sections 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.5), given in the Appendix to MAPROL Annex I, were adopted which simplify the current entry.
Specifically, these amendments aim to make completion of Form B of the Supplement to the International Oil Pollution Prevention (IOPP) Certificate, with respect to segregated ballast tanks (SBT) and protective location (PL) arrangements on double hull tankers, and dedicated clean ballast tanks (CBTs), consistent and easier for recognised organisations (ROs) to complete.
